Saturday, 28 January 2006 by Michel Roth
Schinning.net points out that THINWORX 2.8 has been released. THINWORX is a best-in-class server based computing (thin client) solution that provides secure, cost-effective, Web-based access to UNIX and Windows-based applications. THINWORX provides significant value by providing core server based computing functionality at a lower overall cost than comparable server based computing products while generating revenue through its unique “ad”vantage.

With version 2.8, the underlying architecture of Secure Router has been completely reworked to improve compatibility with the Internet and with various customer networks. THINWORX 2.8 means simpler and more trouble-free installations, better performance, and greater reliability under the new architecture. The new design also lays the foundation for future extensions to THINWORX that will differentiate it from other server based computing software products.
