VIEO end to end Citrix management
Tuesday, 09 November 2004 by Michel Roth

The VIEO 1000’s end-to-end Citrix management encompasses the network, compute, and software resources that must work together to deliver Citrix-based applications. From a network perspective, the VIEO 1000 can identify problems with network streams to remote offices across the WAN, problems with network streams among software services within the corporate data center LAN, and problems with network devices on the LAN or WAN. From a compute perspective, the VIEO 1000 can identify issues with physical and virtual servers in the infrastructure. From a software perspective, it can diagnose problems within the Citrix software services (such as the MetaFrame Presentation Server, Secure Gateway, Secure Ticket Authority, Web Interface Server, XML Service, Directory Server, and Data Store) as well as problems in other software services commonly used by Citrix applications, such as Oracle or SQL Server databases.
