Virtual Iron Software is participating at SAP SAPPHIRE '06 in Orlando this week. The company is demonstrating the latest release of its advanced virtualization and management software with Intel Corp. at Booth #2974. SAPPHIRE opens today and runs through May 18th.

Virtual Iron recently announced Version 3.0 of its software, which combines its enterprise-class virtualization and management capabilities with the open source Xen hypervisor. With it, Virtual Iron is the first to deliver native virtualization and simultaneous support for both 32 and 64-bit unmodified Linux and Windows operating systems and applications on Xen. The new release also takes full advantage of new hardware-assisted virtualization capabilities from Intel. As a result, users get better performance, streamline data center management and reduce operational costs while preserving investments in their existing software stack.
