Virtualization As A Platform Feature
Thursday, 09 February 2006 by Michel Roth
This is a really nice article on the Windows Server Division Blog by Ryan Rands on the progress of virtualization initiatives in the real world. This article is part one of three:

"To be successful with your virtualization strategy, you really need a combination of technology, technical skills and the right software licensing to enable you to get the maximum benefit from server virtualization. Over the next few days, I'll be posting parts II and III, covering some new developments in both technology and software licensing, and finally describe some powerful new scenarios that are possible by combining the new technology and software licensing that make sense for virutalization."

Read it here.

Oh, by the way, if you'd like to work on Windows Server Longhorn over at Microsoft: there happens to be an opening in the Windows Server Technical Evangelists team. If you're up for it, take a look here.
