Visionapp has released version 1.5 of it's popular RDP connection management tool: vRD 1.5. The new visionapp Remote Desktop 1.5 (vRD 1.5) freeware, a tool for managing RDP connections to serves, has just been released and is now available for download. Besides the useful functions already included in Version 1.4, Version 1.5 features:

• Support for Microsoft Vista
• Support for multi-monitor environments
• Support for setting the color depth through vRD settings
• Support for Windows keyboard shortcuts in the tab view
• Multiple use of the same display name for login credentials
• Support for the following performance settings
• Enable/disable Desktop background
• Enable/disable "Show window contents while dragging"
• Enable/disable themes
• Enable/disable bitmap caching

In addition, vRD allows to backup and restore .vrb files or login credentials and to import/export them between different end devices. Also, when logging off or disconnecting from a remote system, vRD no longer automatically switches to the tab at the left of the system. With these RDP connection managers one of the most important things to me is the RDP screen size it leaves me with. This is the reason for this screenshot:
