VMware launches Community Virtual Machines

Community-built virtual machines run inside VMware Workstation and VMware Player and contain pre-installed applications and operating systems. A new directory of these freely-downloadable virtual machines, which are built and hosted by individuals in the VMware community, is available from the VMTN Virtual Machine Center. Initial entries include the Asterix@Home open source PBX, Fedora Core 4, Damn Small Linux, and Minix3.
