Good to know about. VMware has a website up where you can check your (Server based) licenses: "This tool will take a pasted license file and parse, reformat, and attempt to repair it. It will also give you statistics regarding the total number of licenses found and highlight inconsistencies that could potentially cause issues.
Currently, this utility only handles "server-based" license files (used with VirtualCenter). Host-based licenses that stand-alone on a single server are not supported at this time."
