VMware Wins Awards At InfoWorld 2006

VMware, Inc., a virtual infrastructure software company, today announced that VMware Workstation received the InfoWorld 2006 Technology of the Year award in the best desktop virtualization category. InfoWorld's annual Technology of the Year awards identifies significant technologies of the past year that promise to make the impact on enterprise IT strategies and honor the products that exemplify the implementation of those technologies.

In addition, VMware ESX Server and VMware VirtualCenter also received the InfoWorld 2006 Technology of the Year award in the best server virtualization category, marking the second consecutive year that VMware has won this award.
