WinHEC Spotlights Betas And Virtualization
Wednesday, 24 May 2006 by Michel Roth
WinHec is all over new beta releases and virtualization, including Softricity. Here are the headlines in case you missed it:

Windows Vista Beta 2 And Windows Server “Longhorn” Beta 2
Windows Vista Beta 2 and Windows Server “Longhorn” Beta 2 are available to developers and IT professionals with MSDN and TechNet Plus subscriptions. In the coming weeks, Microsoft will start the Windows Vista Customer Preview Program (CPP) for developers and IT professionals who are not a part of one of those programs to obtain Windows Vista Beta 2 and begin their own testing. There will be an announcement on this page with the CPP becomes available, or IT Pros can register at the link below to receive notification via e-mail, and support for the beta.

Office 2007 Beta 2
Office 2007 Beta 2 is available to testers. eWeek also did a review. eWEEK Labs' evaluation of Microsoft's Office 2007 Beta 2 unearthed compelling features and tools, and reminded us why enterprises continue to rely on the productivity suite.
