Wyse Proclaimed Citrix Ready Solution Partner Of 2007 |

YAA. Yet another award? Apparantly the Citrix Ready Program, introduced at Citrix iForum 06, also has an associated award. Wyse Technologies has had the honour being the first Citrix Partner to win this award.
Wyse Technology today announced that it
has received the Citrix Ready Solution of the Year award, which recognizes a
company that excels in providing application delivery solutions to mutual
customers. Citrix Systems honored Wyse Technology with the award during Citrix
Summit 08, the year’s most important event for Citrix business partners
worldwide.
Wyse
Technology was chosen for this award based on five selection criteria: impact on
Citrix Systems’ business, commitment to its relationship with Citrix Systems,
customer satisfaction, channel and field commitment, and marketing commitment.

any Thin Client not citrix ready is not even in the game. Citrix basically created the THin Client market. Wyse has paid to be a platinum sponsor for years to Citrix, just like any lobist, your negotiating something in return.
Technonlogy wise though, WYSE is just Ok. HP/Neoware is already going down hill. I recently had to evaluate at least the top 3 thin clients for our office. we tried out little known IGEL. basically same product as Neoware was producing hardware wise. The HUGE DIFFERENCE.
IGEL remote management suite!!! is Awesome, and it's included free with your thin client purchase, along with 3 year warranty, free tech support. Did I mention the Eval was FREE. This company is on a role, and I see it making a big splash in the U.S. problems, they are based over in Europe, but they just opened an office in the U.S. somewhere, so now orders get here in half the time.
