Wyse Technology, the global leader in thin computing, today announced its newest and most powerful Linux-based thin-client, the V50. Combining a uniquely performance oriented form factor with the industry's most full-featured Linux-based thin client software, the V50 joins the low cost S50(TM) as part of Wyse Technology's Linux-based thin client product line which has experienced a 500% increase in year-over-year sales growth. As part of today's announcement, the V50 has been deployed by to handle the over 10,000 registrations at LinuxWorld Expo in San Francisco. With attendance higher than ever this year, the conference organizers required a solution that was extremely scalable, and had the highest degree of reliability.
